Seitan & Za'atar or in other words 51 g of protein

A fun and easy-to-make protein snack. I used frozen "seitan chunks for schnitzels" from "Teva Deli", but you can also use "juicy seitan", for example, the main thing is that it be unseasoned. In preparation for the competition, I made it without olive oil, it was still delicious, but now that I'm on a diet, the fat fits in wonderfully :)
I make this snack in a different style every time: paprika and garlic, salt and pepper, cumin and turmeric, betel nut or pesto, whichever you prefer, it turns out delicious.
Ingredients
300 g (or as much as you like) raw seitan chunks, thawed or chilled
2 tablespoons of hyssop
A tablespoon of olive oil
Salt to taste
preparation
Cut the seitan into desired pieces, put in a bowl, pour in the oil and spices. Mix and I even really knead the pieces so that they absorb all the flavors. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, and spread the pieces on baking paper, bake until desired doneness. I bake for about 20 minutes, I like it crispy no matter what, but each one does as they please. I like to reuse the baking paper to pack the pieces, and take them with me on days when I'm away from home. Even to the living room in front of Netflix :) Want to upgrade? I make a condiment known as "tomato paste", grate a tomato with a grater, add a little hot sauce (known as "shogu") and dip the pieces with pleasure.
